Peace, Love & Juicy Couture is the perfect fragrance to welcome spring
OK, I am a huge Juicy Couture fan. From fashion to fragrance, if it's Juicy, I need it. When I saw Peace Love & Juicy Couture, I knew it had to be part of my fragrance collection. Juicy Couture is the name for girly girls. From the pink and blue box design to the raised gold emblem, it just brings to mind a pampered princess.
Fragrance review: Paul Smith Extreme an understated winner
Paul Smith Extreme for Men is a mild, understated scent, perfect for occasions when you don't look to assault your senses, and those of others. As with all things in the Paul Smith universe, Extreme for Men is both chic and refined. There are many intriguing tonalities in this scent that conjure a sense of nostalgia, comfort and contentment.
Fragrance review: The striking tenacity of Bond No. 9 Lexington Ave.
Bond No. 9 continues to translate the shires and suburbs of New York into scent with Bond No. 9 Lexington Avenue - another collaboration with the Andy Warhol Foundation. This time, a radiant floral woody chypre for women.
Gucci Envy Me sensual and ultra feminine
Gucci Envy Me was released in 2004 and was created by Karine DuBreui. When I first saw Gucci Envy Me, I fell in love with the signature Gucci trademark on the front of the box. It's also repeated in pink over the tall, rectangular glass bottle and it sets off the pale pink eau de toilette perfectly. The white cap with Gucci Envy Me in silver and pink was the perfect touch. My first thought when I saw it was romance, spring and everything feminine.
Salvatore Ferragamo Pour Femme
There is just something about fine Italian perfumes that has my interest from the beginning. Salvatore Ferragamo is just one of those luxury designers I wanted to learn more about. When I first came across Salvatore Ferragamo Pour Femme, I couldn't help but be attracted by the bold red Salvatore Ferragamo signed across the front of the cream-colored box.
Fragrance review: Bvlgari Man is crisp and contemporary
In late 2010, Italian jewel merchant Bvlgari bounced back with its first male fragrance offering since the marine-inspired triumph Aqva; this time with a scent that epitomizes innate charisma and masculinity -- Bvlgari Man. Bvlgari Man is perhaps the jewel in the crown of Bvlgari's men's fragrance portfolio, one that embraces a contemporary spirit, but still communicates a refined and relaxed sensuality.
Fragrance review: Cacharel for Men well-balanced and understated
An exceptional yet often-overlooked gem, Cacharel Pour L'Homme is one of the "keepers" from the 1980s. While scents from that decade are often described as loud and excessive - Cacharel Pour L'Homme is a remarkably well-balanced, understated men's fragrance.
Fragrance review: Guerlain Mahora is olfactory sunshine
One of the final fragrances created by master perfumer Jean Paul Guerlain before retiring as head perfumer of the house that bares his name, Mahora is a rich and compelling floral oriental for women that is both tropical and warm.
Perfume review: Narciso Rodriguez For Her hums with white-hot appeal
American designer Narciso Rodriguez won international acclaim several years ago with the launch of his very first perfume, aptly named Narciso Rodriguez for Her - an eau de toilette oozing with sensuality and unwavering femininity. Narciso Rodriguez For Her perfume is a celebration of Egyptian musk … an oil introduced to the creator in his teens, which he has coveted ever since.
