Survey: Women would give up sex, jeans for beauty products

Women were given a choice between giving up sex for a week or their favorite beauty product in a recent survey by L'Bel USA. It's not surprising that sex took the back seat on this one. The one that surprised me, though, was that they would give up their favorite pair of jeans or shoes. I'm not sure I could ever give up my comfy jeans just to keep my MAC foundation.

Italian perfumer has launched blood-scented fragrances

It looks like an Italian company has beat Lady Gaga's blood and semen perfume to the punch. The perfumer, Blood Concept, created the blood fragrances in four versions to coincide with the blood types - A, B, AB, O. So, do they all smell like blood?

Tea-maker Tetley launches tea-scented fragrance

How about a spritz of tea? Tea-mogul Tetley has introduced a new fragrance that smells like a cup of tea. Le Brew was created after research showed that tea is one of the U.K.'s favorite aromas, according to the Daily Mail. Other favorite sniffs include fresh bread, cut grass and clean laundry.

The fashion designer chose the social networking site as the launch platform for his first fragrance in 10 years, the highly anticipated Esprit d'Oscar.

Taylor Swift fragrance coming this fall

Here's an update on Taylor Swift's upcoming fragrance line: It was reported in November that the Swift inked a deal with Elizabeth Arden to develop her own signature fragrance -- for release sometime later this year. According to a recent announcement, the fragrance, which will be targeted to girls between 13 and 24, is slated to hit shelves this fall.

Britney Spears perfume line at center of lawsuit

Britney Spears and her father, Jamie, are in hot water with the licensing firm that helped the pop diva launch her famous Britney Spears perfume line. Brand Sense Partners is suing Spears for $10 million alleging breach of contract. The company claims they did not receive a 35 percent commission for brokering the deal between Spears and Elizabeth Arden.
