Man Hands Take on a Whole New Meaning

Some of you may have thoughts on men who get manicures, but what about your thoughts on this?  EVOLTIONMAN collaborated with Indashio to extend their mens nail paint collection with new, limited edition nail color.  The color is a masculine matte black, with gold flecks.

We are excited to work with INDASHIO on our newest nail paint. His innovative creations push the limits of menswear design and has inspired us to reinterpret traditional black nail polish, both in texture and finish, making it more relevant to the modern man looking to make a statement,” says EVOLUTIONMAN founder Marco Berardini. "I am so excited about this new collaboration! The color is cool, sleek, and its matte masculine finish is super rockstar! I am looking forward to starting a trend with guys wearing nail polish,” added INDASHIO

That's all great and well, we hope to see a new trend start with this too, but just one thing we couldn't help but notice.  Does this look like a man hand to you?

Olympic Contenders Model For CoverGirl

Covergirl needed strong, sexy, and feminine women for an upcoming campaign. They looked for models where no one has before, they chose two Olympic contenders to fill the spot.

New CG faces will be volleyball player Jennifer Kessey and boxer Marlen Esperza, who will both be competing in the 2012 London Olympics this summer.

"We are athletes and in turn we are the everyday women," Kessy told People magazine. "CoverGirl is celebrating the fact that beauty and feminity can come in so many forms. To be able to convey this to girls and women is a very good feeling."

We wouldn't go that far in saying these athletes represent the everyday woman, but we do love the fact that a big brand like Covergirl is celebrating beauty and feminity in a whole other way than society is used to.

Do you think more companies should follow in the footsteps of Covergirl? There is more to beauty than perfect eyebrows and a skinny model figure, right?  What are your thoughts?

NEW: Ralph Lauren Romance Summer Blossom for Women

Ralph Lauren's classic Romance is a popular favorite and lucky us, Ralph Lauren has just launched a 2012 limited-edition, Romance Summer Blossom. With notes of mandarin, guava, jasmine, coconut water, and vanilla, this scent is as sweet as true love.

And mentioning true love, the brand partnered with SONY pictures and the movie The Vow by Michael Sucsy startting Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum.

If you haven't seen The Vow already, you must!  A touching love story, about a young married couple where the wife (Rachel McAdams) is left with amnesia after a car accident and husband (Channing Tatum) manages to make his wife fall in love with him all over again.

What a perfect movie to pair with Ralph Lauren Romance Summer Blossom for women, no?

Fragrances for Car Finatics

If you love cars, then this may be your thing, and you most likely know that this weekend in Manhattan, a car show will debut the newest technologies and advances in the automotive world.   The New York Auto Show, held at Jacob Javits center, will be showcasing the hottest cars from the newest Acura NSX concept car to the Chrysler's SRT Viper, to the latest Cadillac's and Porsche's, and the list of luxurious cars can go on and on.

While cars don't fascinate us all too much, what we couldn't get our mind off of was how some of the most well known cars have some not so well known fragrances, and of course felt the need to make all you car lovers, and you not so much car lovers, educated on the scents!

Cadillac and Cadillac Extreme cologne are fragrances that, yes, really do exist! Introduced in 2009, Cadillac cologne has fragrance notes of incense, camomile, cinnamon, tarragon, grapefruit, ebony, geranium, vetiver, and sweet spice.

Estee Lauder created Mustang and Mustang Blue, both fragrances for men. Mustang cologne was created and introduced in 2007.  A year later, Mustang Blue was introduced, with notes of lemon, cypress, bergamot, lavender, geranium, basil, clove leaf, patchouli, musk, pine, artemisia, cardamom, mint, cedar leaf, sandalwood, clary sage, and black pepper.

Porsche not only designs cars, but has three different fragrances for men. Porsche Design Sport, Porsche Design The Essense Summer Ice, and Porsche the Essence

And if that's not enough car cologne talk for you...Vapro International created four Corvette fragrances, all for men.  From Corvette, Corvete Black, Corvette Blue, and Corvette Red, Corvette makes sure there is an option for you.

Don't think you or your man can handle these scents on a daily basis? Well at least we know thye'd make a great car freshener, no? Fancy.
