They say all that glitters is gold, and that is 100% true with Donna Karan’s Gold Sparkling perfume.  Spray some of this on your pulse points and you’ll smell of lovely notes including fruits, amber, Casablanca Lily petals, citrus, and berry.

For a feminine, floral fragrance with a twinge of oriental uniqueness, Tous Gold perfume is the perfect choice. With additional notes of amber, vanilla, spice, this scent is the perfect balance between sweet sugar and spice.

Kim Kardashian’s Gold perfume is quite pleasant, surprisingly mild and great for casual use.  Gold is a luxurious fragrance with the tagline that claims it to “transcend ordinary”. Notes include bergamot, grapefruit and pink pepper, along with blends of patchouli, sandalwood, amber and creamy benzoin. 

Love a floral, woody scent? We couldn’t resist…Gold Roberto Verino for Women is THE floral, woody, powdery scent any woman will love to wear.  A great night scent, this fragrance opens with bergamot and gardenia and middle notes of rose, jasmine, iris root and white peony. If you never tried it or had it, you will want it! 

Top seller Cuba Gold is no wonder a top cologne for men with it’s exotic essence of bergamot, lavender and vetiver blended with woods and jasmine. It’s the ultimate masculine scent and what better than it’s inspiration of the Cuban cigar.

Another top selling men’s cologne, Paco Rabanne 1 Million cologne has main accords of warm spices, citrus, cinnamon and woody scents. We love nothing more than to announce a launch of a new fragrance, and none the less, Moschino is launching another fragrance into the market, Pink Bouquet.  A flirty, fruity, floral scent, this fragrance will be on every young woman's wish and want list.

“One characteristic of our fragrances is the reference to a woman with a strong personality, sparkling and decisive,” said Rossella Jardini, Moschino creative director, adding: “I believe the freshness of this fragrance and its elegance are classic elements of the Moschino world.”

Moschino's licensee who developed the scent is Euroitalia, and their president Giovanni Sgariboldi defines her perfectly. “It’s for all women who think, love and live ‘in pink,".  Kendra Spears, the American model in the ad campaign and television commercial is the personification of Pink Bouquet: “bubbly but sweet and romantic at the same time.”

For a more dramatic look, forget the saying less is more and go all out. Get a full on, ‘crimped out’ look by crimping your entire head. Now, like we said, this is for a dramatic look, so if you are heading out for a special occasion or something of that sort, we suggest you take this route.   Divide your hair into small sections and begin to crimp your hair from the bottom layer up. Once all the layers have been crimped, apply a lightweight hairspray that won’t make your hair hard but keep it put for your special night.

For a more light, romantic look, sweep back your fringed hair and keep it to hold with a hair or headband.  You can even clip back some sections of your hair loosely behind your ears for a sweet and stylish daytime look.

Hidden crimping, which is a great way to add volume to your hair without teasing it, which can eventually ruin your hair and hurt you in the long run. Split your hair into two section and divide the bottom layer from the top layer.  Crimp at the root and lighten the crimps at the ends for root volume and a soft finish.

There are just some products we can do without, but facial products are just NOT one of those things. Products for face have such a wide range of variety, in scent, texture, and it's specialty for use.  Here we go with our top 5 favorite facial products we really can't get enough of.

There's the English braid, which is the most common, basic braid we know of and comes to our mind first when someone mentions the word braid. Then there is the French braid, that is far too often worn by cheerleaders, sorry but it's true.  There's then the swiss braid, the crown braid, the dutch braid, the fishtail braid (OMG, we love), the micro braids, the corn row braids,  twist braids, and the list can literally go on and on.

While we weren't able to attend, you bet your bottom that we were LiveTweeting with the attendees of the event. The FiFi Awards is literally the Oscars ...for fragrances. With Jane Lynch as the host, and attendees such as Martha Stewart and the lovely Nicole Richie, the excitement was more than anticipated at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center.

The dark color is a hit for sure and we have plenty of proof to back it up with the recent event, one of the biggest in the fashion industry, the Met Gala, where tons of celebs and fashion industry pro's played off that dark lip, oh-so-well. We've scored two of our favorite 'burgundy' beauties and couldn't help to indulge ourselves.

 You can wear the burgundy color on your lip for a dark, goth look that was similarly worn by Camille Belle and Jessica Alba, our two personally favorite dark lipped babes. Get the look by getting a quality dark lip color, Guerlain's Kiss Kiss Pure comfort lipstick (with SPF10 too) in brun moka is the perfect plum-per color that glides on effortlessly for a pretty pout.  Make sure to apply it on a moisturized lip and line the lip so the dark color doesn't feather.

Can't nail the lip color trend? Nail it, literally. Paint it on and go a bit dark on your own 10 tips. Apply a base coat, two to three layers of the burgundy color, we love Dior's vernis icone nail lacquer, and of course apply a glossy top coat to complete the look.
