We're seeing it all over, from Toddlers in Tiara's to kids in tanning beds and being injected with Botox, at what age is it considered 'too young' for a child to wear makeup and beauty products? Can it be or should it be considered child abuse?

It sounds crazy, but these things are actually happening under our noses, in the towns we live in, on an every day basis! The idea of beauty has always been an issue, but when you put two and two together, one of them being a child, it can be quite a problem and cause quite the stir .  With stick thin models and photoshop galore, the idea of beauty is perceived as unrealistic in this day and age. This is not natural beauty, and children are learning that this is 'true beauty' and 'beautiful' at an early age.

What are your thoughts on chidlren using makeup and beauty products at a younge age? Are there certain 'rules' or restrictions you would keep for yourself and your child?

From red soled shoes to red lipped sticks, Christian Louboutin has announced a launch in beauty products and it’s slated to hit stores in 2013. The fact that Christian Louboutin is entering beauty is a huge deal, the company will be called, Christian Louboutin Beauté.

These products will not just be thrown out there until they are perfectly and precisely ready. Louboutin is a no-mess around type of guy and is quite the perfectionist, unless the products meet the designers exacting standards, those products won’t be out, not matter what the approximate date is launch.

“Very constructed, quite different and unexpected,” Louboutin teased in an exclusive interview, skirting questions about specific categories he is plotting.

No matter what it may be up his sleeve, we know it’s big and its luxurious and unconditionally clever.

Ever wonder what a fragrance note is? What exactly is the difference between a base note, a top note, and a plain ol’ fragrance note? 

Understanding fragrance notes doesn’t have to be complex, and we’re about to break it down for you. Understanding what the notes are in a fragrance will help you better determine which scent is right for you, which will match with your personal preference and personality.  Besides that, which is a pretty important part of selecting a new fragrance, you will feel more informed and comfortable explaining the notes to other people yourself.

Let’s start from the basics. A perfume has three types of notes, a top note, a middle note, and a base note.  A top note is the first scent you ‘experience’ when you first apply the fragrance.  Top notes include and can be referred as citrusy, summery, woody, spicy, or floral.

Then, the middle notes, which can also be called heart notes, are the scent results after the top note has faded a little.  This scent that you experience consists of the middle notes of the perfume.

Finally, you then have the base note, which are the scents that reveal itself as the perfume sits on your skin and warms up to your body temperature.  It can take up to an hour or so for this to occur.  So what is the true and actual scent of the perfume?  That would be the mix of the middle notes and base notes. 

So now you know what it means when we mention base notes, top notes, and the middle notes of a scent and we hope that this helps you when choosing a new scent for yourself. Take note(oh the irony), it does take up to an hour for that true scent of a fragrance to adjust on your body, so before making any quick decisions about scent, be patient and let some time (and your nose) do all the work.

Not only did Gwynnie look stunning at the Met Gala this past week in Prada but we know she will look just as stunning as the new face of new Boss scent, Boss Nuit Pour Femme. She will star in their TV, print, and online campaigns, all inspired by the elegance and sensuality of the little black dress.

“We are [pleased] to welcome Gwyneth Paltrow to the Hugo Boss family as the face of our new Boss Black female signature scent,” said Gerd Von Podewils, global marketing director for Hugo Boss Fragrances, P&G Prestige, who is in London for the press launch today. “She is the perfect complement to Boss Fragrances.”

According to WWD, Gwyneth said, “I was honored and very happy to be chosen as the face of Boss Nuit Pour Femme,” said Paltrow, who will be presenting the fragrance later today at Sanderson Hotel in London.

“To me, the Boss woman is driven, ambitious and goes after what she wants, but she balances being strong and very feminine at the same time — characteristics that I strive toward in my own life.”

With a scent that speaks for itself, is it really necessary to continue writing this fragrance review? This perfume is a sexy, sweet smelling scent, great for wearing during the day but even better for a night out! And not to mention, the unique bottle with double spray bottles, for twice the fun for a sexy, romantic night!

Fragrance and fashion go hand and hand, and when we see some bizarre beauty happening on the runways, we can't help but exploit it.  Bizarre beauty for this week, get the grind on the artful brow, you know, the beaded, bedazzled, bleached, bushy brow.  One of the most well known looks is the Chanel pearl and beaded eyebrow look from Fall 2012. The creative director who was behind that mastermind got everyone talking this past fashion week, but with anything coutoure, most likely, it will never make it's way on to the streets. Would you wear such a thing?

Bleached brows are another hot topic, from the look at Gucci's Fall 2012 show to Lara Stone's bleached brows, the trend is showing through on lots of runway shows but again, not a look we'd try at home.

Bushy brows aren't as bizarre, but the unkempt, natural look is an absolute beauty trend we would try, unlike the bleached or beadazzled looks.

How far would you go when getting playful with the artful brow?

Doesn't it feel like there are just not enough hours in the day, most days? We feel the same way, and we know a lot of you are probably puffy eyed and tired, but we have some quick solutuions to get a pretty, bright, wide-opened eye look when it's one of those mornings that you hit the snooze button a few times more than often.

It's not what you do in the AM, but what you do before you get to bed to have that gorgeous, wide awake look on your face. 

Here's option #1 to try, before setting your alarm at night, wear a cold compress or eye mask on your eyes. Don't have one, grab a bag of frozen veggies and wrap it in a wash cloth or paper towel before applying to your eyes for about 10 mintues. My personal fave is a gel eye mask, but any of these will benefit your eyes in two ways; it will boost the circulation around your eye area and drains excess fluids that stick around that make your eyes appear puffy.

Option # 2, drink up! Drink lots of water and stay hydrated, this will remove the toxins in your body and the extra sodium, which will make your eye appearance brighter, plus give your entire face a healthy glow.

Option #3, moisturize, but not with any facial moisturizer.  Get an eye cream rather than a regular lotion.  The eye cream has specific ingredients and higher concentrations of certain ones (like emollients) that will cater to and safely help your under eye for an appearance that is healthy and bright.

Option #4, use a roller ball pen for under eye circles. Clinique makes a great one for night time under eye repair. The cool, metal rolling ball is enough to minimize our dark circles and depuff our inflated eyes.

Option #5, dark circles appearing darker than usual? Give them the tea bag treatment! Make yourself some tea, drain and let the tea bag cool so that it is warm, not hot, and then close your eyes, keeping the tea bags over them. Keep them on for about 20 minutes and try this 2-3 times a week.

The first male face of Chanel No. 5, and the brand goes with Brad Pitt.  Is Chanel becoming a risk taker or do you think they made a smart decision with this one? Can Brad Pitt compare with one of the most famous of the iconic perfume's ambassador, Marilyn Monroe? 

Time will tell, but Chanel announced yesterday that the launch of the new ad will feature a male, Hollywood heart throb, and a long haired Mr. Pitt.

Rumor has it that a possible man version of the perfume could be in the works, but Chanel neither confirmed or denied that report.
