This season, the brand known most well for their 1969 classic denim jeans is rolling out its new 1969 fragrance collection, and we have a feeling that this collection will be as favorable as the classic must have denim. Sorry guys, the Gap is only catering to women with this scent, but the fragrance is perfect for that girl you know who loves a citrusy, floral, yet woodsy smelling scent.  It's girly, it's sweet, and it's available at Gap stores nationwide.  Would you wear a Gap fragrance?

Finally, Lanvin's first fragrance in over FOUR (excruciatingly long) years is here! Jeanne Couture is a 'sophisticated' variation of it's origianl scent, Jeanne Lanvin.  The founder of the fashion house, known for his cute signature bow tie look, has incorporated this signature look onto the new fragrance bottle, naturally.  With a purple ribbon around the neck of the bottle, this cute gesture tops off the bottle, which contains pure liquid lust.  With fragrance ntoes of raspberry, magnolia, musk and peony, this is the new must have scent amongst fragrance fans. All the single ladies, all the single ladies, when it’s time for him to put a ring on it, have you thought about what perfume you’ll wear on your big day?  Perfume is an accessory too, don’t forget it, and it saddens us to see that brides-to-be don’t get it.  Hello! Denise Richards has been very busy preparing a perfume for you!  She reportedly has been working on her signature perfume for over a year now, and recently, she’s tweeted that she received lab samples to choose from. Curious as to what fragrance notes this perfume contains? The actress said that the perfume is a ‘remix’ or ‘reflection ‘of her personal taste in fragrances, notes include coconut water, ylang ylang, plumeria, gardenia, jasmine, tiare, lily, musk, vanilla and violet wood.  She is hard at work with Californian fragrance company, Parfumologie, and will soon debut her Denise Richards parfum this summer, hopefully sooner than later.

We can say that Paris Hilton has had one major success for herself, and that is her fragrance collection which has one more perfume addition, get ready for it...Dazzle. This latest womens fragrance is set to launch in June and will be available in three sizes, including a 125 ml eau de parfum. “Give me a chance to color my world and I will color it a sweet, pretty and playful pink! Dazzle is as brilliant and feminine as a coveted gem. This sensual fruity floral alluringly expresses a woman’s whimsical side, revealing her inner beauty, her special dazzle and her unique charm.” Paris Hilton.

Today is the day Dita Von Teese's fragrance launches! The very glamourous Dita Von Teese paired up with Liberty of London to create the scent, named of course after who else, herself, and will be the perfect addition to her already sexy products (her very own Louboutin shoe and Von Follies lingerie line).  This one however, is not just for 'showgirly' girls; she defines it as 'pink', and the bottle? "The bottle of Dita Von Teese is something you find in a black satin handbag of sophisticated women," she said.  "However the tassel and the small emblem, which is refined with a martini glass, feathers and a corset, speak in a subtle way to my Burlesque side."

Just a little spray here, a lil dab there, soon you'll see, the pounds will start to spare. Really? Do you believe that perfume can help you lose weight? To us, it sounds crazy, so we just had to get our hands dirty and dig deep with this one.

Dr. Hirsch at the Smell & Taste Treatment & Research foundation conducted a study that consisted of four groups of men (about 50 of them) who all had to look at a woman and estimate how much she weighed. Sounds like fun? With each of the three groups, the woman was wearing one of three different types of fragrances (citrus floral, sweet pea/lily of the valley, and floral/spicy) and with one group, not wearing a fragrance at all.  When it was time for the weight estimates to be done, they found that the men estimated the woman who wore floral/spicy fragrances to weigh less than her actual weight. 

A dumb study if you ask us, totally..who cares how much a guy thinks we weigh, not I. But it get's us thinking, what does the floral/spicy scent trigger in a mans mind to make a woman look thinner? Dr. Hirsch, get on that one for your next study!

Who doesn't love a pop up shop, especially one that is reflective of the Odin fragrance brand? Odin has recently launched a pop up shop in Manhattan that is set to stay open through Memorial Day and provides a quiet, sensorial space to take in the brand and reflect on it's surrounding art installation.

“A lot of the stores [where Odin is sold] tend to be crowded and noisy, but this gives a more isolated experience so [visitors] can focus on their own experience with the fragrance,” said Odin partner and Purpose-Built co-owner Larry Paul.

The pop up shop, only 400-square feet, features 'Odin bottles' suspended from the ceiling and is a heavenly experience. 

“We wanted an installation that was a very different experience for Odin,” said Paul Birardi, co-owner of Odin New York. “Odin packaging is very black, dark and moody, and we decided to flip it. Everything is white other than the product on display.”
