NEW: Ralph Lauren Romance Summer Blossom for Women
Ralph Lauren's classic Romance is a popular favorite and lucky us, Ralph Lauren has just launched a 2012 limited-edition, Romance Summer Blossom. With notes of mandarin, guava, jasmine, coconut water, and vanilla, this scent is as sweet as true love.
And mentioning true love, the brand partnered with SONY pictures and the movie The Vow by Michael Sucsy startting Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum.
If you haven't seen The Vow already, you must! A touching love story, about a young married couple where the wife (Rachel McAdams) is left with amnesia after a car accident and husband (Channing Tatum) manages to make his wife fall in love with him all over again.
What a perfect movie to pair with Ralph Lauren Romance Summer Blossom for women, no?

How To: Jill Stuart New York Fashion Week 2012 Fashion Week Beauty
Jill Stuart, a 'preppy' favorite of mine is always a guaranteed playful, flirty and refreshing collection every season. The most recent collection revealed a doll-like 'belle de jour' beauty look. The models could be portrayed as dolls, with a gorgeous pale porcelain glow, eyes were bright and defined with intense liner, and lips were perfectly pouty. A matte, peach lip color created an innocent, feminine feel. Colors of the collection included fresh coral and nectar, light mint greens, turquiose and gold. The medium length hair look was created as a tousled, sideswept do, portraying a breezy magicalness.

Get this look:
- Apply a light to medium coverage foundation or a tinted moisturizer for a natural, dewy look.
- Line the inside of both the top and bottom of the eyes with a black kohl cream liner.
- Trace over the liner to soften it.
- Add depth to the eye look by adding a brown cream shadow to the contour of the lids
- Brush on a highlighter with a peachy blush for a natural warm glow
- Dab the same foundation applied to face onto lips
- dust on a peachy lip cream and apply gloss only to the center of your pout
New Fragrances: Blood Concept's +MA
Since it's Friday the 13th, why not be the bearer of some semi-weird (yet interesting) fragrance product news? It's acceptable on today, right?
Last year, Italian niche brand Blood Concept created four unisex fragrances to correspond with the four basic blood types, A, B, AB, and O. +MA is a new unisex fragrance that has been launched that is reportedly 'the future of mankind'.
The fragrance is described on their site as, "clean and white. Like a comfortable limbo. The secret place, a safe embrace."
Fragrances for Car Finatics
If you love cars, then this may be your thing, and you most likely know that this weekend in Manhattan, a car show will debut the newest technologies and advances in the automotive world. The New York Auto Show, held at Jacob Javits center, will be showcasing the hottest cars from the newest Acura NSX concept car to the Chrysler's SRT Viper, to the latest Cadillac's and Porsche's, and the list of luxurious cars can go on and on.
While cars don't fascinate us all too much, what we couldn't get our mind off of was how some of the most well known cars have some not so well known fragrances, and of course felt the need to make all you car lovers, and you not so much car lovers, educated on the scents!
Cadillac and Cadillac Extreme cologne are fragrances that, yes, really do exist! Introduced in 2009, Cadillac cologne has fragrance notes of incense, camomile, cinnamon, tarragon, grapefruit, ebony, geranium, vetiver, and sweet spice.
Estee Lauder created Mustang and Mustang Blue, both fragrances for men. Mustang cologne was created and introduced in 2007. A year later, Mustang Blue was introduced, with notes of lemon, cypress, bergamot, lavender, geranium, basil, clove leaf, patchouli, musk, pine, artemisia, cardamom, mint, cedar leaf, sandalwood, clary sage, and black pepper.
Porsche not only designs cars, but has three different fragrances for men. Porsche Design Sport, Porsche Design The Essense Summer Ice, and Porsche the Essence.
And if that's not enough car cologne talk for you...Vapro International created four Corvette fragrances, all for men. From Corvette, Corvete Black, Corvette Blue, and Corvette Red, Corvette makes sure there is an option for you.
Don't think you or your man can handle these scents on a daily basis? Well at least we know thye'd make a great car freshener, no? Fancy.
CoCo Chanel Enters the FiFi Hall of Fame
CoCo Chanel, the design house of one of the most classiest fragrances, has finally been entered into the FiFi Hall of Fame. On this year, the 40th Anniversary of the FiFi Awards, the fragrance foundation proudly awards the life and times of Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel, a style icon for many ages.
CoCo Chanel will be inducted into the 2012 FiFi Hall of Fame on May 21st.
“It is quite astonishing that in the year 2012, a fragrance introduced in 1921 and simply named Chanel No 5, prevails as one of the most enduring and iconic symbols of style, elegance and modern scent creativity the world has ever known,” says Jill Belasco, chair of The Fragrance Foundation. “Chanel fragrances have reached near mythical status thanks to the vision of Coco Chanel, her enduring commitment to in-house master perfumery and an uncompromising commitment to luxury and quality. To this day, men and women everywhere delight in wearing fragrances marked by the entwined double C’s of Chanel.”
“We are very pleased that The Fragrance Foundation is recognizing Coco Chanel for her lasting impact and ongoing influence over the world of fragrance, and we thank The Board of Directors of The Fragrance Foundation for this significant recognition,” says Christine Dagousset, US executive vice president, Fragrance & Beauty, Chanel, Inc. “Mademoiselle Chanel is a guiding inspiration in all we do at Chanel, and we are proud of the infinite contribution she has made to the worlds of modern fashion, beauty and fragrance.”
Kate Walsh Launches Second 'Boyfriend' Fragrance
Givaudan perfumer Mary Pierre Julien has worked with Kate Walsh, Grey's Anatomy actress, in creating both Boyfriend and Billionaire Boyfriend fragrances.
For the first fragrance, Boyfriend, Walsh wanted to capture a boyfriend's scent that lingers on. New fragrance, Billionaire Boyfriend puts the focus on a rich boyfriend, Walsh told WWD, “This is a story of fun, indulgence and decadence. The sky’s the limit,”
Her thoughts on the new fragrance? "Nobody wants to buy a fragrance called Husband. I think the idea of Boyfriend connotes fun, a kind of frivolity and romance. Anything can happen as opposed to with a husband or a fiancé, where things get serious and heavy and possibly end in lawsuits,” she said, adding, “It was really about a nod to these guys. Now, we don’t have to necessarily get married, [but I felt like saying,] ‘Hey fellas, we really like you, and we love romance. We like the simple things like wearing your shirt or your jeans.’ These are the kind of romantic, sensual things that I wanted to give a shout out to.”
OPI Teams up With Spiderman
Call it whatever you want, weird, funny, unreal, bizarre or lame...we think it's super neat! What better way to celebrate the release of the new movie coming out later this year, The Amazing Spider-Man, than with an OPI collaboration! Genius!
The OPI themed collection contains 6 nail shades, one crackle and a four pack of minis. Shades are Call Me Gwen-Ever(an orangey hue), Your web or Mine? (a pearly pink), Number One Nemesis (a dark, metallic gray), My Boyfriend Scales Walls (a clean, pearly white), Just Spotted the Lizard (a gold and green metallic mix), Into the Night a deep metallic blue), and Green Shatter (a metallic acqua green).
Will you take an interest in this OPI collection? Which color do you think you'd use most?
Trend We Love: Ombre Hair
The ombre-hair trend is a two toned lock look we simply love! With countless celebs, like Rachel Bilson, Drew Barrymore, and Sarah Jessica Parker, rockin' this look with ease, it's no wonder this trend is not ending anytime soon. These trendsetters have it right, and the ombre hair trend is the hottest beauty must have now!
Most typically, we've seen the medium brown, deep chestnut auburn hair color slowly fade into a light brown, blond hair color. However, that is not always the case.
We came across this ombre hair look at Prada's Fall 2012 runway show in Milan. It's an extreme ombre look that goes from blond to black, would you dare to try? This dramatic look is definitely a 'runway' look, but do you think you would be able to pull it off every day? Or would you stick to the more natural hair colors for a more 'believable' look?
