They've done it before and they'll do it again! Leighton Meester and Vera Wang have worked together in the past. Vera chose Ms. Meester to be the face of her Love Struck fragrance but this time around, they are teaming up again, only this time it's to join together to gain support for bone marrow donors!
Together, and with the teaming up of DKMS (the worlds largest bone marrow donor center), they've created the 'Share the Love' campaign.
How to get involved? Purchase a Vera Wang fragrance at Macy's and you'll receive a 'Share the Love' t-shirt! How does Meester become a part of it all? The actress is the face of the charity's ad campaign, along with Keri Mullen, a 19-year old blood cancer survivor.
"Everyone wants a new car, a new phone, whatever. But the only thing someone who is ill wants is to survive," the actress said in the public service announcement for the campaign. "But I learned six out of ten people who have leukemia never find a matching donor. It's very difficult. So the more people that get swabs and the more people are willing to donate, the more people can survive."
