American actress Evan Rachel Wood has been selected to front Gucci's newest women's fragrance, marking the young talent's foray into the fragrance world.
Gucci's creative director, Frida Giannini, told WWD she chose Wood, who appeared in "The Wrestler," "...as she has very strong character. She’s young, but rising and [an] influential figure. I didn’t want to offer this project to someone overexposed or too well known. Instead, I wanted a fresh individual that would coincide with the image of the project.”
Wood got her start in 1998 in "Practical Magic," with Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman.
