First, exfoliate. Because our lips our tender, however, you don't need to scrub them too hard. You can simply use a warm washcloth or a pinch of sugar to rub over your lips. This will rid your lips of dead skin. Make sure you rub on some lip balm directly afterward. It's best to exfoliate before you go to bed at night.
Next, be mindful of whether or not you're licking your lips. This is a bad habit that only dries out your lips even more. Instead, keep the lip balm handy and apply it throughout the day.
Use lip liner to outline the shape of your lips. When you apply it, make sure it looks natural by smoothing it out. Fill in with lip gloss for extra pop.
